Subject: Accounts
Topic: Financial Accounting Process.
Specific Objective:
At the end of the topic students should be able to do the following;
Explain what is accounting equation.
Explain what is an Assets, liabilities and capital. Discuss the summary about the equation, debtor.
Discuss the features of debtor and creditor.
Discuss differences and similarities between the creditor and debitor.
Discuss the effect of the transaction in the balance sheet.
Instruction materials:
Marker,chalk board , financial, commerce text book and laptop showing Microsoft excel chart, Microsoft word and Google meet.
Instruction techniques:
Observation, explanatory, discussion, demonstration question and answer.
Entry behaviour:
What the students have learnt in previous topic.
Set induction:
The teacher draws or captures students attention by telling them a story about how our forefather making use of accounting.
Instruction procedure:
Stepi: The teacher will introduce the topic by pronouncing it to the Students.
Stepii: the teacher write the topic on the marker board thus, the financial accounting process.
Stepiii: the teacher will explain the topic to the students.
Stepiv: the teacher will write note for them.
Evaluation:
The assess the students base on the topic been thought to them by asking them questions thus,

What is liabilities
What is capital
Explain and discuss the difference and similarities between creditor and debtor.
Explain how capital, debtor and creditor affects the balance sheet transaction.
Closure: the teacher will close the topic by picking out the key facts from the topic
Summary:
The teacher will summarize the topic by going through the topic again. The teacher also encourage the students to practice more on their own.
