About Alison
I have been teaching for the past eleven years and have experience working with AEN students too. My teaching style is informal and I really love getting to know my students to make the content as relatable as possible for them. I have been working with the subject of Politics and Society since its inception and currently work with the SEC in examining it.

I work with all levels and abilities of students at second level to enable them to best reach their potential. Lessons are exam-focused with tailor-made notes for each student. I caan help students looking to maximize their top grade, or if a student wants to take Politics or History as an additional subject for their leaving cert outside of school. As a current SEC examiner in both subjects, I know how to focus students to go for the top grade. Open to small group lessons if a group of friends wanted to work together.

Perfect! Alison was brilliant!. She had great patience with my daughter Joy. She brought her grade from a H6 in her October exams to a H2 in her mocks. She consistently provided all resources Joy needed. A great teacher and role model!.
