About Bill
In any job, if a person is to feel fulfilled, they have to have a “Why”. Without a “why”, it is just WORK..
My “Why” is watching students understand concepts and score well on tests.
I was less than mediocre as a student in grade school and high school. In fact, I barely graduated. After some time in the Air Force, I gained confidence. I realized that I did have it in me to do well. I just never believed I could do well. I earned two associate degrees and taught electronics for 5 years. I then earned a bachelors degree and a Masters degree. I became a board certified PA-C and went on to practice medicine for 11 years. I was diagnosing and treating patients while educating them on how to take control of their health. Education was a very big part of my medical practice.
I loved teaching electronics, health to patients, and now Biology/Anatomy & Physiology.
Most importantly, I understand how hard it is excel with the pressures of childhood, and even a lack of confidence.
. I am here to help… to teach… It REALLY is my WHY.

Hello Students,
My name is Mr. Diamond (Bill), and as stated above, I have practiced medicine in Family Practice as well as Dermatology for 11 years. Before becoming a board certified PA-C, I taught physics in the US Air Force. After 11 years of medicine, I decided to go back to my passion (teaching). I now teach High School Biology and Anatomy & Physiology . I also teach Anatomy & Physiology for a college here in Florida. I have a passion for engaging students and helping them engage their lessons. I spent 25 years in the Air Force and have many experiences that help me relate to students and motivate them to learn the subject matter.
As for my my approach with lessons, It is motivational. It is based on understanding and building confidence. I love to help realize that science is not just a bunch of facts, but a way of thinking.
My approach is to focus on the important concepts and relate them to topics which are important to the student. Students learn by creating examples or scenarios that I could relate to life experiences or other memories.
In my current job, I help my students build their knowledge by pulling from past experiences or even future aspirations.
I believe that with the right motivation, students can reach their fullest potential. I look forward to developing your potential and leading you to success.
