About Gerardo
I am an economist, investor, and personal finance professor with experience teaching at universities such as Tecnológico de Monterrey and UANL, as well as delivering financial education and training for schools, companies, and private clients. I also provide independent financial consulting focused on long-term decision-making and investor education.
Throughout my career, I have worked with hundreds of students and professionals who wanted to learn how to invest but felt confused, insecure, or overwhelmed by the volume of information—and misinformation—surrounding the financial world. My work is grounded in a simple principle: investing is not gambling, and no one should make financial decisions without first understanding how the financial system works.
My approach is educational, structured, and fully personalized. Through one-on-one investment tutoring, I help students understand the financial system from the ground up, learn how different investment instruments work, and develop the fundamental skills needed to evaluate investments independently. Rather than teaching generic formulas or promoting unrealistic expectations, I focus on helping students ask the right questions, assess risk, identify potential scams, and make informed financial decisions aligned with their personal goals.
I do not sell financial products and I am not affiliated with any financial institution. My work is completely independent, with no conflicts of interest. The objective is to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to invest on their own with clarity, responsibility, and confidence.
My goal is for every student to move past the fear of the word “invest” and begin making informed, conscious, and sustainable financial decisions based on understanding—not speculation.
