About Ruqayyah
I’m a law student with an inclination to creative writing and unique self-expression, primarily through writing. As somebody on the constant journey to self development and actualisation, I would love to encourage you to explore and think creatively, and help you to apply your other gifts (whatever they may be), in achieving the type of written work you desire. I will also help you to discover your writing style and your unique voice!

My teaching approach is a lot like coaching. My intention is not to simply teach you what I know by sharing my knowledge with you, it’s primarily to get you to feel capable, confident and empowered to take on your writing goals yourself. Currently, I’m in my 4th year of studying law at university. At secondary school, I was consistently the top of the class in English, helping classmates in our exam prep and editing their essay assignments. I choose to keep lessons between 30 minutes to an hour long, because I believe in the power of bite-sized studying/learning, and the power of absorbing information gradually and incrementally. I can help teens and young adults in secondary school or undergrad students (mainly). However, older students who want to work with me are welcome to!
