About Jeanie
Outside of tutoring I love animals, crafting, and reading. I have 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 10 chickens! I love to take drives in the mountains with my dogs. I paint wooden objects—mostly unicorns, and I build or create decorations for each holiday. I sew and create clay animals and I also write. Currently I am working on a 3rd grade chapter book about an elephant who travels in a hot air balloon.

Hello! I'm Jeanie! I am a tutor who loves to teach! I was a teacher for 13 years at brick and mortar schools. I have shifted to private tutoring. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Middle School Math, and now even tutor high school! I focus on understanding what each Learner needs to make the next academic leap. I use programs including Orton-Gillingham, Xtramath, Starfall, and Anton. Each lesson I teach can include reading, writing, and math. I use mindfulness as I teach test readiness and take anxiety out of education.
