About Aaron

I am a graduate with a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory. I've been teaching music lessons both online and in-person for over 3 years and composing/producing my own music for 5 years. I have experience teaching people of all backgrounds, from talented 6-year-olds to college students looking to improve their understanding of what they've learned in school

About the lesson

Whether you're just interested in getting your feet wet in the musical world or you're a college student looking for a music theory tutor, I've got you covered. Regardless of your interest (jazz, classical, electronic music...) I understand it at a fundamental level and have likely written/produced in the style. It's easy to get started in music and gain isolated skills and knowledge without understanding how to put things together. I have both the flexibility and the methodology to give you all of the skills you need in a concentrated, holistic manner. And don't worry, we'll always keep it fun :D

Perfect! Aaron was incredibly helpful and adaptive to me. I'm a guitar player and went to him for composition lessons and he has made it a point to try and adapt what he ordinarily teaches on piano to guitar. He is very communicative if you have questions, gives thorough explanations, gives homework assignments that actually matter so far, and overall hasn't bored me to tears by any means. Everything is incredibly digestible and fun, so far. He's really great and I highly recommend him!
