About Mohd Ahmad
As a qualified engineer with a PhD, I bring analytical precision and patience to mathematics tutoring. My experience teaching my own children has deepened my understanding of how young learners grasp mathematical concepts at different stages of development.
I believe every student can excel in maths when taught in a way that resonates with their individual learning style. Whether your child needs extra support to build confidence or additional challenges to stay engaged, I adapt my teaching to meet them where they are. My approach combines clear explanations, practical examples, and structured practice to ensure concepts are truly understood, not just memorised.
Parents can expect regular feedback on progress, and students will find a supportive, encouraging environment where questions are always welcome. Acknowledging that we all are different, I adopt a personalised approach to suit individual needs. I can pace up/down as needed and likewise, I can set additional tasks as needed. The structure of each session, which lasts 50 minutes, is as follows: new material > reinforcement with examples > tasks for the next session > recap of the session.
I teach KS1, KS2, and KS3 students (5 years of age - 13 years of age). I have a PhD in Engineering and I tutor my own children.
I also provide homework support.
