About Shina
I was born and raised in Kyoto in the Kansai region. I graduated from nursing school and worked at the hospital for eight years. I arrived in Montreal to learn French at language school. At home, I love to cook Japanese food, read manga and watch anime. おおきに！

Japanese is a complex but fascinating language. Let’s make it an enlightening and, of course, fun experience to learn! We will learn the Japanese language through experiencing traditional culture. We will even use anime or manga to learn some unique expressions!
Growing up in Kyoto, I speak the Kansai dialect. I also speak standard (Tokyo) Japanese.
