About Aliya
I started tutoring my peers in school when I realized many of them struggled with math concepts I found easier to grasp. It began as informal study groups, where I’d explain difficult topics and help them prepare for exams. Seeing their improvement and confidence grow inspired me to expand my efforts, and I began tutoring children in my community as well. I loved sharing my knowledge and making math accessible to younger students. My experience was further enriched by working for several months at Kumon, where I developed structured lesson plans and learned effective strategies to support diverse learning styles. This journey has not only deepened my understanding of math but also reinforced my passion for helping others succeed.

I create a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, fostering a growth mindset. I understand each student’s unique learning style and can tailor your teaching methods to meet their needs, ensuring they grasp concepts at their own pace. I connect mathematical concepts to real-life scenarios, making the subject more relatable and showing students how math is relevant to their everyday lives and career. Students will not only improve their skills but also build confidence and a love for the subject. They’ll be equipped to tackle challenges both in school and beyond!
