I teach English to newcomers in Canada. I am qualified to teach children, teens or adults in the Westshore (Langford, Colwood, View Royal and Highlands), BC area.

I'm fortunate to have Sylvia as my child's English tutor. She's kind, patient, and encouraging, which is very important for ESL learners to build up confidence and start speaking. Besides that, she has a profound understanding of teaching, from the structures of classes to homework after sessions; she's into every detail. 5 out of 5, definitely recommend!

Sylvia is a true professional. My daughter really enjoys her lessons. Sylvia has a great way with children. She's responsible and meticulous. I highly recommend her as a teacher.

She is a very professional and responsible teacher. She carefully designs the lesson content according to my child’s current English level. During the class, she is very attentive and adjusts the pace and difficulty based on my child’s concentration and engagement.

After each lesson, she provides a detailed summary and assigns appropriate homework to help reinforce the key points. The books, videos, and audio materials she recommends are always interesting and suitable for my child, which keeps him motivated to learn.

Since studying with her, my child’s English has improved a lot. We truly appreciate her support.

Highly recommended!
