About Kylah
I believe in helping individuals reach their full potential and achieve academic goals. Teaching is a means of serving and building communities. I further believe in making a difference by aiding individuals' confidence in their own abilities.
Building an interactive and student-centred learning environment is integral to maximise classroom engagement. A student's learning experience is only as effective as their teacher's ability to engage leaner needs.
I have graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a Bachelor of Journalism and Communications. I am currently studying my honours in Strategic Communications. I have received my TEFL/TESOL certification from the TEFL Academy in order to aid my teaching expertise.

I work with the strengths of each individual by creating bridges to help develop their unique skill set. I teach English first and second language. I use a student-centred constructivist approach and the interactive/participative method of teaching. Each lesson will be structured according to students' needs and requirements based on assessment of learning criteria and academic specifications.
