About Hoorain
I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic person with experience working with children in early years and school settings. Through my experience, I have developed strong communication skills and have learnt how to support children with different abilities, needs and learning styles. I enjoy helping children build their confidence and understand new concepts in a way that is engaging and enjoyable. I am reliable, approachable and always willing to adapt my approach to suit each learner. I am passionate about education and supporting children to reach their full potential.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient and supportive. I adapt my teaching to each learner’s individual needs, using clear explanations, examples, questioning and practical activities to help them understand and feel confident. I encourage learners to participate, ask questions and learn from mistakes, while regularly checking their understanding and adjusting the lesson where needed.
A typical lesson would last around 60 minutes, although this can be adapted depending on the learner’s age, ability and needs. I aim to make lessons engaging and structured, with a short introduction, focused teaching and activities, followed by a review of what has been learnt.
