About Paul
My name is Paul Sutton and I am currently studying a BA (Hons) in fine art. I would like to go on to do a Masters in fine art and start to teach in universities as a fine art lecturer. My current career is a very creative one but it is not in the arts and I consider myself an artist and always have. Find teaching very rewarding and really enjoy passing on knowledge and skills to people.
Although I do not have a teaching qualification per se, I did spend quite some time in South East Asia as a teacher and working as a chef in Michelin star kitchens most of my life, I have had many opportunities to teach other chefs in the job; both of which I found very rewarding.

I offer one-to-one tutoring for people wanting to learn art for fun or to build some confidence and skills to go on to study. Lessons will take place in my home studio, online or at home if preferred. Being an artist, I understand the importance of allowing the student to find their own way with whatever they create and to give them support and guidance through the project and teach them the necessary skills and techniques.
I have been an artist my entire life. After school, I studied graphic design and fine art but finished neither, I then went on to study a degree in Photography. I am now currently studying a BA (Hons) in fine art.
