There is nothing to be afraid of - Corp Finance is just a simple algebra with bunch of concepts invented by accountants, CFOs and bankers.

The subject is interesting: what is investing?, what is debt financing? what is equity financing? what is a portfolio? what does mean payout policy in company's announce?

Content:
Dividend policy and MM irrelevance of payout policy
Interest rates and the valuation of bonds (both risk-free and risky)
The link between leverage, risk and return
Modigliani–Miller in a perfect capital market, both propositions
Market imperfections: taxes, financial distress, bankruptcy risk, agency costs and benefits, asymmetric information
Capital budgeting with leverage: WACC, APV, FTE
Raising equity and debt capital (IPOs, issuance)

About the lesson

I teach difficult concepts not only verbally, but visually as well as quantitatively. To tackle quantitative problems is on you - that's the best way to gain understanding in Corp Finance. I teach through examples from my own experience in Mining, Oil&Gas and Real Estate.

The lessons are for high schoolers (I wish I was taught that when I was 19), uni level students, engineers and everyone who is interested how the business is financed and what organizational incentives are.
