About Mitchell

I have been playing chess for over 20 years and teaching them for 15. I have experience in private lessons, as well as group settings such as schools and camps. I have a 1609 USCF rating and 1800 rating on chess.com for 5 minute chess.

I teach using a curriculum I personally made to help advance students that are just starting in chess in independent beginners. A typical lesson will consist of reviewing the previous lesson, practice play and learning new concepts/ideas. Lessons are for kids ages 5 -18 and adults as well.
