Hello all, my name is Ena and I am currently a second year BSc Geology student at the University of Manchester. I have completed my A-levels with A* Geography, A Biology and B Chemistry.
I can teach from GCSE-UNDERGRADUATE LEVELS in Biology, Geology, Geography and Chemistry.
My lesson structure:
Identify the main aim of the lesson - keeping this aim at the forefront
Go over key concepts - could be for example process of photosynthesis
Look at key words associated with these concepts and come up with definitions
Go over the lesson with summary questions from exam papers and my own questions.
come up with a rhyme, diagram or cards to help you remember!
My teaching style is mostly focused on visuals. I like using diagrams, colours, maps and pictures to help teach. At the end of each topic I use past exam paper questions to go over the content using the style of answers that is required for examinations. I have fun quizzes in between keywords and concepts to ensure you don't forget!
