About Jennifer
I was born and raised in Japan. My father is an American and my mother is Japanese so my first name is Jennifer and my middle name is Miyabi. I am a Swifty(Taylor Swift fan) from Japan and I love listening to music. I love learning languages as well as teaching them.
I have taught over 100 students including teaching English in Japan as well. I worked at a international preschool for three years teaching in groups and individually. I have also taught the teachers as well. I was also working for Peppy Kids Club online to multiple students in groups. I have taught Japanese for over two years online.
Because I offer detailed explanation and feedback, I create an environment where students feel at ease to ask questions. I am a teacher who encourages students to try and not fear mistakes, so they feel more confident and will love Japanese.

I think learning a language requires you to know the proper basics to speak or use it eloquently, so I help you know the alphabet (hiragana and katakana) as well as the kanji. I teach grammar as well. As you take my lessons, I will help you speak as much as you can with my support so that you will be more confident and less shy speaking Japanese.

Jennifer sensei is a great Japanese language teacher who helped me with forming more natural expressions. She helped me to understand the parts of Japanese that were a struggle for me to understand by myself.
