About Hannah
I am a committed flute tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience. I teach school students, college learners, and working professionals who want to learn flute for exams, performances, or personal interest. My goal is to make music learning simple, structured, and enjoyable.
My teaching approach is based on strong fundamentals. I focus on breath control, embouchure development, finger technique, tone clarity, and rhythm accuracy. I believe a strong foundation helps students grow confidently. I explain each concept clearly and give practical exercises for regular improvement.
Along with flute training, I also teach music theory, scale practice, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm counting. These subjects help students understand music deeply. I also introduce improvisation and basic composition for interested learners.
My unique skill is observing small technical mistakes and correcting them patiently. I guide students in building daily practice routines and preparing for stage performances. I encourage discipline, consistency, and confidence. I believe music builds focus, creativity, and emotional expression.

My teaching methodology for flute emphasises communication, creativity, and flexibility to help students progress confidently and enjoyably. I explain techniques in simple language, demonstrate exercises, and provide step-by-step guidance to ensure proper learning.
Open communication is encouraged so students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing difficulties, and receiving feedback. Creativity is incorporated through warm-ups, rhythm exercises, tone-building activities, improvisation, and expressive music practice to make lessons motivating and enjoyable. Lessons are adapted according to each student’s pace, skill level, and goals.
Flute lessons include breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. Alongside flute, I teach related subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and performance skills to help students become confident, well-rounded musicians.
