About George
I had really good teachers in high school and I want to help others to have a similar experience. It makes me very happy to get someone excited about math and science.
Each student has their own goals, interests, sense of humor, etc, and I enjoy the opportunity to tailor a subject to their specific personality.

About the lesson

I tutor any level of math, statistics, physics, or chemistry from year 11 to university undergraduate.
Each week I bring a new set of notes for them to take home, usually with drill questions, interactive activities and a project question. During the lesson, we talk/draw in the blanks.
Typically a lesson lasts 1 - 1.5 hours, depending on need.
I have been giving private and university-run lessons for 3 years.
To open a walnut, you can either take a hammer, or leave it for a day in water until it softens and opens naturally. My approach to teaching is to constantly cycle problems and questions in a spiral around the destination, until they can easily figure out themselves.
