About Carmen
I am a highly experienced, well-mannered and perceptive tutor who is more than willing to personalise lessons to best suit the learning styles of my dear students.
I am best suited to senior level English students (all abilities!), nevertheless, have just over two years worth of experience with both primary and highschool students.

My approach to tutoring honestly differs depending upon the learning style, and personality of the student (in particular, their resilience and perceptiveness towards criticism).
My lesson typically range from 1-3 hours. Within these lessons, I provide students with a comprehensive and structured review of relevant topics, go through exemplars with them, and set them a task in which I will critique within my own time.
In terms of experience, I have specialised in both English and Humanities senior English tuition for two years. Nevertheless, during these two years I have also taught junior english and humanities! Even at a primary school level!
I additionally have acquired experience in teaching primary, junior and senior mathematics (up to Standard 2)
I am well ept with regards to students who suffer with poor levels of concentration and specifically from ADHD, having dealt with such myself.
