About Payton

I have been a music student and teacher for over half of my life and have worked with over 100 students ranging from ages 3-50+. My rates are flexible since I hope to include everyone interested in music lessons. I am dedicated to education and looking forward to hearing from you to start your music journey!

About the lesson

I believe the three most important ingredients for successful music lessons are fun, flexibility and faithfulness. It is important to me that each student has fun, feels understood and accepted. Lessons are a time to collaborate, create, and find new inspirations through music in order to develop lifelong skills. Each lesson is flexible, adapting to the needs of the students to develop skills and learn pieces that are important to them rather than teaching solely from a methodology book. To ensure the highest rate of success students, teachers and parents must have the same level of commitment to lessons remaining faithful to the lesson time and practice routines.
