About Susnighdha
I think math is incredibly visual, and it’s sad that people sometimes treat it as though only “smart” people are allowed to enjoy it. I don't think that's true. More than anything, math requires perseverance, and it's easy to get lost as a kid. I struggled a lot as a kid with math and picking up new concepts, and it was only because I had the right people to help me through my troubles that I was able to learn to love it enough that now I want to make a career in research. Helping others and sharing the skills I’ve gained through my mathematical education is my way of returning the favor to the people who helped me when I needed it most. So, if you’re struggling with something, come along. We'll face the troubles together, and find a way through it.

One of my most important approaches includes understanding if the student has a clear foundation of the concept that they're confused about or trying to understand because that sets the rhythm for future lessons and more complex concepts that they will encounter. I usually make slides and try to understand what kind of learner my student is as in a visual learner would require something that would depict the whole picture visually really well. I try to help them with a few questions in the class so it is easier for them to refer and do it by themselves in homework. My lessons are mainly for middle school to high school students. Overall, I believe in honest and adaptive approach so that the student can perform their best while understanding everything clearly.
