About Kara

I am a passionate French tutor with 7 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over this time, I have successfully helped over 150 learners improve their fluency, confidence, and academic performance.

My teaching philosophy focuses on personalised learning, tailoring each lesson to suit the student’s goals, pace, and preferred learning style.

I utilise interactive exercises, conversation practice, role-playing, and cultural immersion to make lessons engaging, practical, and memorable. My unique skill lies in making challenging grammar and vocabulary accessible, helping students build confidence and proficiency quickly.

I strive to create a supportive, motivating, and student-centred environment, where learners feel comfortable asking questions, exploring the language, and celebrating achievements. Lessons are designed to strengthen all aspects of language—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—while keeping learning enjoyable and relevant.

Teaching French is my passion. I aim to provide a comprehensive and enriching learning experience that equips students with fluency, confidence, and cultural understanding.

About the lesson

My French teaching methodology is based on real-life communication and practical understanding. I believe students learn better when they see how French is used in everyday life.

I use real-life examples and case studies such as travel conversations, professional meetings, academic presentations, interviews, and daily social interactions.

These activities help students connect theory with real practice. I teach grammar and vocabulary clearly and make sure students apply them immediately through speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises.

Problem-solving tasks are included to develop independent thinking and confidence in French. Motivation is very important in my classes. I encourage students regularly and help them set realistic goals for steady improvement.

Integrity is one of my core values, and I provide honest, constructive feedback while maintaining respect and professionalism. I am flexible and adjust my lessons according to each learner’s level and objectives.

Besides French, I also teach related subjects such as communication skills, pronunciation improvement, grammar strengthening, writing development, and exam preparation. My goal is to help students become fluent and confident French speakers.
