LTCL Piano Performance Diploma
ATCL Piano Performance Diploma
ABRSM Piano Grade 8 Distinction

I've been a piano teacher for 11 years and I love that I get to support and encourage people's love of music. It's so rewarding seeing my students make progress in ways that are important to them!

About the lesson

Hi, thanks for reading :) I'm Ellie (they/them). I've been a piano teacher for 11 years now. I teach all ages of children, teenagers and adults (I'm a big believer that you're never too old to start learning!), and I'm very happy teaching all levels from complete beginners to diploma.

My teaching style is friendly and supportive. It's really important to me to create an environment where my students feel happy and relaxed when learning.

I teach a range of styles including classical, pop, jazz, blues and more, as well as composition, songwriting, aural training and music theory. I also teach clarinet and saxophone.

I support students working towards music exams if that's the path you'd like to take, and equally my students never need to take any exams. Lessons are tailored to the musical goals that are meaningful to you.
