About Leda
Hi! I’m a passionate guitar tutor with 4 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in World Music focused on Guitar Traditions. My studies helped me understand many global styles while my personal playing developed in metal, shred, and progressive rock. These genres require speed and precision. I enjoy guiding students through that challenge.
Lessons emphasize strong technical foundations. Students practice alternate picking, sweep picking, tapping, and legato phrasing. Exercises are clear and progressive.
I enjoy working with both young beginners and adult students. Everyone learns differently. Lessons are adjusted to match personal goals.
Some players want tight rhythm riffs. Others want lightning-fast solos. Music theory is always linked to practical playing. Students learn how scales and rhythm create powerful guitar lines. I teach guitar with an emphasis on lead playing and improvisational freedom. Students develop phrasing, articulation, and melodic direction for solos that communicate emotion. Lessons focus on shaping solos thoughtfully, not randomly.
Improvisation is developed gradually through scales, chord tones, and musical patterns. Techniques like bends, slides, vibrato, and legato are practiced carefully to add character and expression. I also teach how to build musical phrases that sound natural.
Some students enjoy jazz-based melodic exploration. Others thrive on rock and blues soloing full of energy. I support both learning paths while helping each student refine their unique voice. Technique, creativity, and musical listening grow together through structured exercises. The goal is confident, expressive soloing. Soon, you'll be shredding with confidence.
