Hi, I'm Leighyan! I'm passionate about helping high school students gain confidence in Geography and achieve their academic goals.
Having recently completed high school, I understand the current curriculum and the challenges students face. I know how frustrating certain topics can be, which is why I focus on creating a friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

My goal is to help students understand Geography in a way that is simple, practical, and enjoyable. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to each student's needs, learning pace, and goals.
I offer lessons for high school students, whether you need help understanding difficult topics, improving your grades, preparing for tests and exams, or building confidence in the subject. I can assist with topics such as mapwork, climate and weather, geomorphology, development, settlements, and exam techniques.
During a typical lesson, we'll begin by identifying the areas you find challenging. I'll explain concepts step by step using clear examples, diagrams, and practice questions to make sure you truly understand the work. We'll also work through past exam questions and discuss effective study strategies to help you feel prepared for assessments.
As someone who has recently completed high school, I understand the current Geography curriculum and the challenges students face. My aim is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and learning at your own pace. No question is too small, and I'm committed to helping you build both your knowledge and your confidence.
My lessons are suitable for Grade 10 to Grade 12 students, whether you're looking to catch up, stay ahead, or achieve your target marks.
