About Tawana
My name is Tawana Marume, and I’m a passionate English tutor with a strong academic foundation from Tygerberg High School. I enjoy solving problems and constantly look for ways to improve myself, and I bring that same mindset to teaching, always learning, adapting, and helping others grow with me. What drew me to teaching is the impact it can have. I believe that with the right guidance, every student can improve and gain confidence. I’m committed to creating a supportive, patient, and motivating environment where learning feels approachable and progress is achievable, no matter your starting point. I enjoy helping people improve their skills and gain confidence in English, whether it’s for school, work, or everyday communication. Seeing students progress, even in small ways, is incredibly rewarding for me, and it’s the reason I love teaching.
