About Livia
I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Food Chemistry. My background has helped me develop a strong understanding of molecular structures and chemical interactions in both theory and real-world applications. I enjoy helping students see chemistry as a visual and logical science. When molecules make sense, chemistry becomes much easier.
In my lessons, I often use molecular modelling software and virtual reality simulations. These tools allow students to explore molecular geometry and bonding theories in an interactive way. Instead of memorising shapes, students can observe them in three dimensions. Learning becomes more engaging.
I’m especially passionate about teaching VSEPR theory, hybridisation, and intermolecular forces. These concepts explain why molecules take certain shapes and how they interact with each other. Understanding them helps students predict chemical behaviour with greater accuracy.
One of my strengths is visualising complex molecular structures and explaining them clearly. Difficult ideas become simpler with the right perspective. Let’s build molecules together and explore chemistry in a whole new dimension.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand Chemistry through clear concepts and strong visualisation. Chemistry becomes much easier when students can see how atoms and molecules interact. Lessons begin with the basics of atomic structure. Students learn about protons, neutrons, electrons, and how electron arrangement shapes chemical behaviour.
From there, we move into chemical bonding and how atoms combine to form molecules. Ionic, covalent, and metallic bonds are explained using simple models and examples. Molecular geometry is another important topic. Understanding molecular shapes helps explain many chemical properties.
We also explore periodic table trends such as atomic radius, electronegativity, and ionisation energy. These patterns help students predict how elements behave in reactions. Chemistry begins to feel logical.
My methodology emphasises active visualisation and conceptual understanding. Diagrams, models, and step-by-step explanations make abstract ideas easier to grasp. Dedicated support is provided for students interested in science, medicine, and nature. The goal is to build confidence in fundamental chemical principles. Together we will master the building blocks of matter with clarity.
