About Evelyn
I earned my undergraduate degree in Contemporary Music Studies in the United States and have over 6 years of experience teaching guitar through online one-to-one live lessons.
Before moving fully into online tutoring, I worked at Melody Path Music Academy, Georgia, where I taught beginner guitar students and helped them develop chord control, rhythm, and performance confidence. I also taught at River Point Music School, Illinois, where I supported students preparing for beginner showcases and school performances.
My academy experience helped me understand how to teach students who feel nervous about starting guitar. I learned how to break down each skill into small, manageable steps so beginners could feel success early in the learning process. I received a Creative Guitar Teaching Award for designing engaging beginner guitar lessons.
I also have experience teaching online and currently work with students from various parts of the world. That international teaching experience has made me more flexible and patient, and it helps me create lessons that fit different goals, cultures, and learning styles.

I teach online guitar lessons for beginners of all ages who want to learn in a relaxed, practical, and encouraging environment. I work with students who are brand new to guitar as well as those who know a few basics and want to improve further.
My guitar lessons include acoustic guitar, electric guitar, blues guitar, rock guitar, rhythm guitar, chord changes, strumming patterns, beginner scales, simple improvisation, timing, ear training, and song playing. I also help students understand how to play with confidence and enjoy music while building useful skills.
Some students want to play favorite songs, some want to join school music programs, and others simply want a fun creative hobby. I adjust each lesson based on what the student wants to achieve.
I focus on making guitar learning simple and enjoyable because beginners often feel overwhelmed at first. My goal is to help them feel steady progress and confidence with every lesson.
