About Haley
With more than 8 years of teaching experience and a background in Physics with Materials Science, I specialize in astrophysics and cosmology. I guide students through stellar evolution, black holes, general relativity, and the Big Bang. These are big ideas, but I make them approachable through clear explanations and engaging discussions. My lessons are especially valuable for astronomy club members and future astrophysicists. I use visuals, analogies, and thought experiments to connect theory with imagination. Students are encouraged to think critically and challenge assumptions. I believe learning physics is about asking questions as much as answering them. Lessons are interactive, tailored to different levels and interests. Over the years, I’ve helped learners overcome fear of complexity by focusing on step-by-step mastery. My teaching style combines patience, clarity, and enthusiasm. I aim to show that physics is not just equations—it’s a way to understand reality. Join me to explore how stars live, galaxies form, and the universe expands. Together, we’ll unlock the secrets of space.

My approach to Physics teaching blends practical skills with reflective learning. I focus on experimental design, data analysis, error propagation, and scientific reporting. These areas help students move beyond memorizing formulas and into real scientific inquiry. I create a gentle and supportive environment where learners can explore without fear of mistakes. DIY Scientists and Curiosity-Driven Learners find this especially valuable as they discover their unique way of approaching experiments. Lessons include clear examples and hands-on problem-solving. I guide learners in designing thoughtful experiments that connect theory to practice. Data analysis is taught in approachable steps, helping learners uncover patterns in results. Error propagation is introduced gradually, showing how uncertainty strengthens scientific understanding. Reporting is emphasized as a way to explain discoveries effectively. I encourage interactive discussion and reflection at every stage. My lessons combine accuracy with imagination, ensuring both rigor and curiosity. Together, we build a strong foundation for confident and meaningful scientific exploration.
