About Elise
With an MSc in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry and more than 7 years of tutoring experience, I specialise in guiding students through analytical chemistry. Techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and titrations are explained step by step. Lessons are structured to make complex methods approachable. Students also learn experimental design, data interpretation, and quality assurance principles. Many of my learners are preparing for lab-based careers. For them, accuracy and clarity matter most. I design role-play lab scenarios where students practice decision-making and troubleshooting. Every session links theory to hands-on application. I want students to see chemistry as both practical and purposeful. Confidence is built not by memorisation but through practice and discussion.
