About Safia
Hi! I'm Safia and I'm a friendly medical student . I loved my subjects at school and really enjoy explaining concepts to others. I remember how daunting my exams felt so I really want to help out with making that process easier. I can adapt my teaching style to whatever works best for you. I am an experienced tutor and I'm always willing to answer questions along the way. I'm very approachable and happy to repeat or explain things as much as you need.
I have always loved working with young people and once I graduate, I am hoping to specialise in paediatrics. I have developed a strong skill set for working with pupils by:
* mentoring students at my school
* volunteering in nurseries
* working as a tutor
I achieved 11 A* at GCSE and A*AA at A Level.
My favourite things to do in my spare time are rock climbing and meeting with friends. I can't wait to build your confidence and give you a helping hand!

I tailor my lessons to each individual student, based on their areas of weakness, needs & preferences. I make sure that lessons are as interactive as possible - with engaging activities, time for explaining topics & concepts, and plenty of room for asking questions. Additionally, I like to go through exam questions with students, in order to ensure that they can practise exam technique. Going through exam questions and assigning homework are also great ways for me to measure their progress and help them on this journey with me!
Typical length of lesson: 1 hour.
Levels of tuition that I offer: GCSE & A Level.
Qualifications: 11 A* at GCSE, A*AA at A Level.
Past experience: I have tutored students for several years, with several companies and also on my own.
Degree: currently studying medicine (MBBS) in London.
