About Bob

I've been professional career coaching for over 7 years, an outgrowth from my 25+ years professional corporate experience.

I have been coaching professional development in the Boston area for five years and have 15 successful clients to date.

Each client has achieved one or more of their professional goals:

* accepted to the academic program that fit their passion and
goals,
* acquired a new job, changed careers,
* moved forward in their current organization,
* developed an insights and understanding of their strengths and
how to leverage these,
* building interview and networking skills, and building on the job
competency.

About the lesson

Contact me if you are unemployed, employed, or an undergrad/graduate student seeking professional career guidance. Together we will identify your career path, define ways to move your current career forward, migrate to a new job or new career. Along the way I will teach you how to perfect interviewing and negotiating skills, build networking skills, develop executive stature and presence, and build management/leadership skills. And we will explore how you can use a sense of humor to achieve personal success.

My coaching is provided in measured phases and focused on your passions and goals. I incorporate 30+ years of knowledge and experience in the business world, guided research, and CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) model and critical thinking models to ensure your success in moving forward.

As we progress through the phases of the professional development program we examine where and how you can develop enhanced critical thinking skills and build professional confidence when starting your new job.

I will stay with you until you are confident about your ability to manage your professional future. My rates are flexible, let's meet and get to know each other.

Details

It is customary that I do some work for the client between sessions. In some cases this work is non-billable and in other cases it is billable per verbal agreement with the client in advance of the work.

Cancellations within 24 hours are billable at the established client's rate.

Travel beyond one hour is billable at 1/2 client's rate. I have never charged for travel to date. Most of my client's meet with me in Boston either at the Boston Public Library, private setting, or University setting (e.g., Harvard)
