About Carys
I am a Physics tutor with an MSc in Applied Physics and more than 7 years of experience. My teaching focuses on wave phenomena, especially optics and sound. I enjoy guiding learners through ray tracing, interference, and diffraction. Students benefit from my clear explanations and structured lessons. I connect abstract topics to real-world fields such as photonics and telecommunications. Imaging sciences are another area where I help learners see Physics in action. I emphasise interactive learning and encourage students to explore problems from multiple angles. Mistakes are seen as opportunities to grow and understand better. Physics is a powerful subject when linked to real applications, and that is the heart of my teaching style. For Physics teachers and computational physicists, I offer guidance in applying Physics to research, simulations, and practical design. Ultimately, my aim is to make Physics accessible and exciting.
