About Haley
I am in the process of receiving my TEFL certification (teaching English as a foreign language) and a certified substitute teacher. I have over four years of teaching experience in some capacity, whether that be in an academic setting or dance classes. My TEFL training has been very in-depth and beneficial in understanding how to teach a class of students with a language barrier and different learning styles. I am very patient, positive, and passionate about teaching and furthering someone's education.

I believe in a student-centered approach to teaching, as this emphasizes different learning styles. My goal as a teacher is to provide a quality education to students by identifying their academic strengths and weaknesses and catering to their learning style. No matter the class or the subject, I base my lessons off of four learning styles to cater to every student's needs: aural, visual, kinesthetic and read/write learning styles.
