I am a substitute science teacher with experience in all subjects. I am offering private tutoring to help motivate students, learn study skills, develop a love of science and nature, and raise grades. I have 2 years of academic teaching experience and 20 years of experience in working with children of all ages.

My tutoring would be tailored to each individual based on prior knowledge, ability, and interest. I firmly believe that seeing connections between students and their world increases their desire to learn and ability to retain knowledge. I stress the importance of finding good sources for information and recognizing bias in that source. Problem solving in science can be skills applied to all aspects of life.
