About Sherley
I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree (S2) at the University of Indonesia with specialization in Theory, History and Architectural Criticism, as well as an assistant lecturer in theory and history courses.
I really love history and culture, especially in Indonesia itself which inspires me to be able to share interesting experiences when I study history, not only a matter of memorizing dates and names of figures, but also understanding important events that became the milestones in the formation of Indonesia which is now and of course the deeper things that are very interesting to discuss in class and open our horizons to better understand and love our own country.

I've taught privately several times for high school students, general subjects, and currently helping UI lecturers as assistants.
I always try to teach by telling the basic narrative of a problem and showing different points of view so that students can understand more deeply about the topic so that they are able to retell it and not just memorize it.
specially in the field of history , I always try to tell interesting stories like a short story or novel about historical topics so that students are able to capture and explore the characters and events that occurred in the history.
