About Okuhle
My name is Okuhle Xanga and I am from South Africa. I am a student teacher, who specialise in Foundation Phase. I adore kids, and nothing makes me happier than seeing them being interested into learning. I never make my learners feel less for not knowing something in class, instead I always tell them that it’s okay to not know something, as long as you prepared to learn. I chose teaching because I love education and I chose Foundation Phase because I love working with kids, just seeing their beautiful smiles in the morning always brightens up my day.
Each and every year I do my practicals, so far I have 16 weeks of experience.

I am a soft teacher and I value education so much. I teach English, IsiXhosa, Life Skills and Mathematics. I listen to my learners and value their opinions. I specialised with kids from the age of 5-16 years. I always make sure that my learners understand my lessons by always giving them platform to respond. I never shout at my learners. I always make sure that they are relaxed before a lesson.
