About the lesson

Hi,
I am studying primary education at the University of Winchester. My particular interest is French, of which I am specialising in as a teacher. I have been tutoring for two years for children in primary and secondary school for a range of subjects.

In 2015, I went to Tanzania for two weeks to teach at a secondary school. This experience allowed me to look into the world of teaching and overcoming barriers, such as with language. All of my experience in both primary and secondary schools has helped me to confirm teaching is the career for me.

Outside of the classroom, I have volunteered at Sunday school for two years. I have also volunteered at Brownies and I was a childcare leader in four holiday clubs. I have completed my Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award and my main hobby is trampolining which I have been doing for ten years and I compete in competitions regularly because I aspire to reach my full potential in this sport.
