He was born in Sydney, has lived in Hong Kong for 15 years and started to learn piano since he was 4 years old. During these years, he has participated in numerous piano competitions, winning multiple awards such as the Champion at Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, 81th Steinway & Sons International Youth Piano Competition (Both in Hong Kong and China), "Chopin Memorial Prizes" Hong Kong - International Piano Open Competition and more. He achieved ABRSM grade 8 with a high distinction in the age of 10 and a distinction in Trinity LTCL Diploma in the age of 16. He has also formed piano trio in Hong Kong and Sydney for performances and exams.
Andy studied year 11 and 12 in Conservatorium High School and graduated in 2023 so he is familiar with the HSC music 2 and extension curriculum and clearly understands the requirements of performance in HSC practical exams.
Other experiences: Choir accompanist from year 5 to year 9, Vocal accompanist for exams. Organiser of the piano piece Wagner Ride of the Valkyries 8 Hands on 2 pianos (edited) to perform in the school house concert collaborating with several pianists in 2022.

Like to teach piano beginners to intermediate students. (Beginners to Grade 8)
Adult beginners are welcomed.
Teaching based on what students want to learn.
Preparing ABRSM/Trinity/AMEB exams, HSC music exams are welcomed.
Classical piano mainly but if you want to learn some contemporary/pop piano pieces that is fine.
Can do for 30 minutes or an hour lesson.
I will teach some basic music theory because that will help your score reading on piano pieces and gradually develop your music knowledge.
Online lesson or lesson at student's place provided
