About Dan
I'm currently studying for my PhD at Swansea University, my research centres around the recycling of steel making by-products. I'm an enthusiastic, charismatic chemistry tutor with a wealth of real world experience in industry.
I've worked in two highly technical industrial sectors - steel manufacturing and food manufacturing and also in industrial laboratories, applying the analytical techniques learned in theory at GCSE and A-Level in the real world to real industrial problems.
I'm currently a STEM ambassador volunteering in local schools and I am also a lab demonstrator at the university helping to teach undergraduate students the skills they need to succeed.

I have known Dan for 6 years, 1 of which he helped tutor me for a University Solid State Chemistry exam.
Dan has a number of strengths to offer as a tutor: he is patient when explaining difficult topics; he can adapt his teaching style to suit the subject and audience; and is extremely enthusiastic and motivating.
