About Shalini

Hello everyone, I’m Shalini Palaniappan from Seremban. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (TESL) and have around 2 years of teaching experience, including experience with MyTutor. I am a patient, dedicated, and passionate tutor who enjoys helping students improve their English and Bahasa Melayu skills and confidence. I teach students from Kindergarten to SPM level and conduct both home tuition and online classes. My teaching style is simple, clear, and student-friendly. I explain lessons step by step and use easy examples, activities, quizzes, and discussions to make learning more interesting. I always teach according to each student’s learning level and pace. I am proud that my students have shown good improvement and achieved better results in their examinations. My goal is to help students enjoy learning English and Bahasa Melayu, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

My Teaching Method

I use a simple, clear, and student-friendly teaching method for both home and online tuition. I teach English and Bahasa Melayu according to each student’s level and learning needs. I explain lessons step by step and use easy notes, examples, exercises, quizzes, and interactive activities to make learning more enjoyable.

I also focus on helping weak students improve gradually. For example, one of my SPM student had previously failed English, but after joining my online classes and receiving consistent guidance and practice, she improved significantly and achieved a B+ in her mid-year examination. This motivates me to continue supporting my students and helping them reach their potential.

I am a patient, friendly, and supportive tutor who encourages students to ask questions and learn confidently. My goal is to help students improve their English and Bahasa Melayu skills, build confidence, and achieve better results.
