About Rebekah

My desire to teach other students about something I am passionate about started with helping my sister with her biology GCSE. In a last minute panic, she asked me to help her with two topics she didn't understand- the heart and the immune response. I spent the evening going over it withher and she went from just learning it off by heart to actually understanding it. She got a B for the first time in biology. After she sent me photos of the pages with the topics we revised and she got full marks. Seeing her so proud of herself made me want to help others if possible.

About the lesson

Due to the intensity of my course, I would teach my lessons via 45mins/1hour zoom sessions. I find that I learn best through pneumonics or visualising things, so this is something I would want to incorporate. Being a student myself, I am constantly revising so know the different learning styles people use.
