About Sondra
Teaching piano actually began when I realized how much I disliked rigid methods. I hold a Master of Music in Music Performance from the National University of Singapore.
Ear training and pop and contemporary styles keep our work fresh. I help 391 students master scales and arpeggios daily.
Dynamics and expression breathe life into classical repertoire. Pedaling technique and memorization techniques are vital for performance. Sight playing and accompaniment skills support your growth. I promise to keep our focus on finding music that you love.

I confess that the first session is always a mix of nerves and excitement. My 7.0 approach uses weekly practice modules assigned with every class to ensure progress. We use these modules to track your growth over 9 years of experience. You will practice chord voicing until it feels like second nature.
Scales and arpeggios build the strength in your fingers. Dynamics and expression make your playing musical. You will learn to love the process. We start immediately.
