About Asavari
Hello, my name is Asavari and I’m a rising college senior in an 8 year BS/MD program. I am a biology major and political science and Spanish minor. I have taken a wide range of science courses at the college level from organic chemistry to developmental biology. I have also been actively involved in biological research for 4 years so I am able to explain practical lab skills associated with the things you are learning in class! I completely understand having difficulty with a subject and not feeling like you are grasping the concepts (I have been in the same boat!). This is why I believe in breaking down difficult concepts to the basics so we can build a strong foundation that can empower future learning. Before each of our sessions, I will ask for the concept you would like to go over and will work on a lesson plan for us so that we can make the most of our time. I will also be available to answer questions outside class time free of any extra charge. Above all, my goal is to help students gain an interest in what they are learning so they are motivated to continue working to improve their academic abilities!
