About Amber
First time tutor but have 1+ year experience working with children who are academically challenged. I study Ba part time and work for an NGO Company that assist ECD centers in and around the Knysna knysna area. I have a theoretical and practical understanding of the adolescence phase of human development and the challenges they face. Therefore, I am able to tutor intermediate and senior phase learners. I also have theoretical understanding of learning disorders and how that impacts learning.

For children ages 5 to 7 I use play based learning, those older I would incorporate different teaching methods in one lesson for example example visual, auditory and Kinetic learning. I encourage older learners to develop a study method and to understand how they learn to be independent with their academic work.
