My approach for younger learners focuses on building confidence, curiosity, and core skills through a balance of structure and play.
- Quick review from last lesson or a fun brain teaser
- Mental math or flashcards to build fluency
- Teach the day’s topic (e.g., long division, fractions, area, word problems) using visual aids or manipulatives
- Work through problems together with guided practice
