About Maya
Hello! I'm Maya Nielsen and I love helping others learn new things and help them succeed. I think it's very important for students to learn another language especially when not everyone speaks English. As a student, I've seen my peers who can't speak English suffer because no one understands them, which is hard for them and the person trying to understand them. My goal is to teach and inspire so that you can make an impact on your peers and your community.

I plan to teach basic phrases and sentences to help students interact with other bilingual students to make them feel welcome at a new school. A lesson will start with a fun warmup going over things they know and then we will do a learning activity to learn new words and practice them. I'm very understanding if you don't understand something and I will always be here to help. These lessons are for beginners to Spanish and those who want to communicate with their peers.
