About Shaurya

I have gained admission at the prestigious St George's University of London to study Medicine and will begin in September 2025. Having excelled in my GCSE and A-Level exams, I believe others can benefit from my experiences. I’m eager to share not only my knowledge of the subjects themselves but also the strategies I used for studying and approaching exams. My aim is to pass on the techniques that helped me achieve such strong results and ultimately aided me securing a place at Medical School.

I did my GCSE Examinations in the Summer exam series of 2022, which were the first set of live in-person exams since the Covid-19 Pandemic and subsequent lock downs. I did 12 subjects at GCSE and I achieved all grades As and A*s (Grades 7-9) with 10 of my subjects being Grades 8-9 (A*) including Mathematics, Further Mathematics, English Literature, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, History and German and 2 subjects being at a Grade 7 (A): Economics and Religious Studies.

I did my A-Level Examinations in the Summer of 2024 and achieved the top grades in my 3 A-Level subjects of Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.

About the lesson

I will be providing tutoring services for GCSE Maths and Triple Science with my achieved grades in the aforementioned subjects being as follows: a Grade 9 (A*) in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and a Grade 8 (A*) in GCSE Further Mathematics (a Level 2 GCSE qualification). Having done my GCSEs and A-Levels very recently, I have a firm grasp of the GCSE curriculum and the challenges students face while studying it. My goal is to address these difficulties head-on, providing clear and concise explanations and targeted support to help you achieve the best results you possibly can.

I will be offering lessons that are 1-hour in length tailored specifically to you. I will aim to consolidate your strengths and improve upon areas that you may not be as confident in.

My approach ensures that each session is structured to maximise your learning, helping you build confidence in areas you may be weaker in, reinforce key concepts, and develop effective problem-solving skills. My goal is to make sure you get 100% out of each lesson and achieve your academic goals in the most efficient and effective way possible.

I’m happy to offer a free trial lesson so you can experience my teaching style firsthand. This will give you the opportunity to judge how I explain concepts, ask any questions, and hopefully come to a decision as to whether I am the right tutor to help you achieve your goals.

I have previous tutoring experience with established tutoring companies, working with students of all ages, from as young as 4 years old up to 16 years old. This has given me the ability to adapt my teaching methods to suit students with a wide variety of learning styles and various different abilities, ensuring each student gets the targeted support they need to succeed and achieve their desired outcomes.
